MANUFACTURING & DESIGN
No HC, HCFC, pentane or steam in PEXS® manufacturing. Temperature Edge Loss reduced by our unique patented system. PEXS® Insulation does not crack or split. PEXS® beads eliminate manufacturing waste.
END OF LIFE
Our corrugated containers are recyclable. End of Life issues and zero waste goals are more easily accomplished by composting. In accordance with US ASTM D6400 Thermal Green Insulation and bags decompose in 10-40 days. Other natural insulating materials, such as cotton batting, can take up to a year to degrade.
CERTIFICATION AND GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS
PEXS® insulation meets US ASTM D6400 and European spec EN 13432 for compostability. Certification provided by: DIN EN 13432.2000-12, DIN CERTCO #7P0280, Sustainable Packaging Coalition CODE GREEN, BPI and Compliant with California Publication #432-08-001 and CA.Code 42355-423585.
